CHOSEN WOMEN’S CENTER
A perfect woman is a hard-working woman, one who’s not an idler, not a fine lady but one who uses her hand, head and heart for the good of others. The sisters (disciples) at the women's center have proven to be “that woman”. Some of them joined hands to assist with the building project at the women's center. The old structure was in a deplorable state and also congested, making it unable to help their sisters from the ghetto who kept trooping in, day and night.
Time for Reflections
As I go through my journey of recovery, I give no room for idleness. I engage myself in constant reading and that’s helping me to enjoy my recovery smoothly. I am in my 3rd month and soon my journey will come to an end for good.
Please come and visit my sisters and I, your words of encouragement are all we need. Come support us so we can finish our building and receive our sisters from the ghetto who keep trooping in, day and night.
Living a substance abuse (addiction) life is a lifestyle lived by all genders and age groups ranging from 15 — 70. It’s quite disheartening to see the youth of this generation, delving into the habit of using hard drugs. Obliviously, 99% of them have no idea the damage the drugs are causing them and how severe the damage will become in the few years ahead of them.
I lived more than a decade of my life doing drugs (alcohol), and it got to a point where I felt, I can’t give up on alcohol because I was aging. Deeply, I felt dying old in alcoholism bare no shame since am already grown.
But, HEY, I tell you what, it is better to die in soberness than in intoxication… I gave up on alcohol when I encountered God at CHOSEN REHAB CENTER! Recovery has no age barrier. It doesn’t matter how old you are, Jesus still loves you even in your drunkness or smoking.
You can make it too, just don’t make a bold decision only but rather take a bold step after making that bold decision and set yourself free from the chains of addiction which I call “THE SLOW KILLER”.
YOU ARE NOT TOO OLD TO COME OUT OF ADDICTION!
MY CHILD AND I NEED SUPPORT!
Lived most of my youthful stage in the ghetto because I lacked the parental guidance and care every child deserves to attain from their parents or guidance. Unfortunately, the guy who impregnated me happens to be an addict too. After delivering my baby he abandoned us and I have no idea of his whereabout. Right now, am in a state of jeopardy as a result of my illness (epilepsy). Though, CHOSEN WOMEN’S REHAB CENTER have been rendering awesome support to me and my baby but because am not the only person in need of help; sometimes I struggle a lot when my sickness comes and am out of meds.
Now that am no longer doing drugs, all I wish and pray for; is to have my life back by treating myself, getting a handy job to do and take care of my child. If you care about humanity then come to our aide!
