Did you know 60% of street kids end up becoming drug users?
WHERE THERE IS LIFE, THERE IS HOPE
Chosen Children's Center, also one of the important wings of the Chosen Generation of Jesus Christ was established out of the women's center. Its currently located in Accra-Darkuman which used to be the women's center. It became apparently necessary to establish this center to take care of children of female addicts and also children who were found loitering in the ghettos because their parents were either addicts or just children who have been abandoned.

Chosen also rescues street kids and some of these children were also brought in by the Social Welfare of Ghana and some Radio stations who found them without parents. A lot of these children would have turned out to be wayward and a nuisance to society if the Center among others was not established.
The kids at the center are taken to school and given a chance to proper education. One of the visions is to build a school so the children can have education in-house. Click here to donate towards the building of the school.
KIDS ABANDONED DUE TO PARENTS ADDICTION
Chosen rescues children who were found loitering in the ghettos because their parents are addicts and have been abandoned. These kids would indulged in petty stealing and all such vices are brought in to the center and cared for.BABIES ON DRUGS THROUGH BREASTFEEDING
Most of the female addicts came to the center either pregnant, with babies or little children and this formed the core of children who are currently in the center and are being taken good care of.
Meet Zoe Washington, She is a baby who just came out of withdrawal. Her mom was drug addict and gave birth to her while in her addiction. Her mom would smoke the drug and breastfeed her. It was through this that Zoe also got addicted.
It’s always fulfilling to see these kids happy and with smiles all over their faces.

It is not our fault to be orphans, street kids, and vulnerable children. Even though society sometimes tends to be hard on us because of our lack of parental guidance but it still doesn’t change God’s purpose for us, irrespective of our family background. We might come from wretched homes but our destiny isn’t wretch; we are the future generation, destined for greatness.

We had an awesome day with YES Alumni Association as we made a trip to JAMES TOWN FORTH and THE INDEPENDENCE SQUARE. Our doors are open to volunteers and donors for trips that will enhance our intellect. Without you our lives would have been a mess so please don’t stop been a part of us
